Directed by Andy Muschietti (known for the "IT" films and "Mama"), "The Flash" is Warner Bros. Pictures' latest offering, starring Ezra Miller as Barry Allen, aka The Flash, in the first-ever standalone feature film.

In "The Flash," Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the past, but his actions cause an unforeseen ripple effect that results in General Zod's return and the absence of superheroes to stop him. Barry must now team up with a different version of Batman, coaxing him out of retirement to save the world and rescue a Kryptonian. But Barry's only hope of saving his reality and returning to the future he knows is to run for his life, even if it means making the ultimate sacrifice.

Alongside Miller, the "Flash" ensemble stars Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdú, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Michael Keaton, with rising star Sasha Calle.

"The Flash" is produced by Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco, with a screenplay by Christina Hodson and a screen story by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein and Joby Harold, based on characters from DC. Toby Emmerich, Walter Hamada, Galen Viessman, and Marianne Jenkins serve as executive producers.



The film is shot by director of photography Henry Braham, with production design by Paul Denham Austerberry, editing by Jason Ballantine and Paul Machliss, and costume design by Alexandra Byrne. The score is composed by Benjamin Wallfisch.

"The Flash" is distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures and will open in North American theaters on June 16, 2023, followed by an international release on June 14, 2023. It is a Double Dream/a Disco Factory production and an Andy Muschietti film.
